You do not need to be fixed.

You can move toward a better life without seeing yourself as a project.

Are you always trying to change yourself? Does it seem like if you could just get that promotion, run that marathon, or optimize your morning routine, you would finally feel better? Do you feel constantly overwhelmed, burnt out, and out of control of your own brain?

If you’re always chasing new achievements and still aren't feeling any better, I would love to work with you. Slowing down can be scary, but when we practice it within the safety of therapy we can clarify our own unique needs and values, independent of what society and social media are telling us to do.

About Me

Hi there! I'm a seasoned clinical social worker and psychotherapist with over 7 years of experience practicing psychotherapy with adults. My work is informed by Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, or ACT, a modality based in finding new ways to relate to your thoughts and feelings in order to move toward a life that you value. I am trauma- and social-justice-informed and also integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and Internal Family Systems Theory (IFS) into my work. For those struggling with body image, I use a Health at Every Size approach.

I graduated with a Master's in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social work at Hunter College in New York City. I was first drawn to this work to make a difference within the queer community, and spent my internship years working with LGBTQIA+ folks with severe mental illness. I have since worked in community mental health, group and private practice with people experiencing a wide range of issues across the spectrum of identity. I have found that no matter my clients' identity, the most impactful work I have done is with people who are extremely hard on themselves. I especially love working with women in midlife who wish to silence their inner critic.

I pride myself on forming genuine relationships with each of my clients. We will be a good fit if you want a therapist who is active, direct, creative, and invested in your growth. I use humor, metaphor, and my own lived experience to guide you to finding your most authentic life. Reach out for a consultation to see if we'd be a good fit! I can't wait to hear from you.
